Stockton-Con was Abel’s first convention though he’s been drawing for about 30 years. Lucky for us his friends urged him to jump in and come to Stockton-Con this year! Inspired by movies and comics, his work is detailed and excellent! Let’s hope to see more from him in the coming years! We couldn’t find any of Abel’s websites but if we do we’ll put them up immediately!

It’s Pez!
Princess Pez took some time out of her busy schedule fighting the evil Professor Otto von Hooper to tell us about her comic and YouTube channel. “It’s Pez!” is from Warm Blanket Studios and follows the toy fox terrier Pez, the pet of an evil genius. While Pez sleeps she dreams of being a hero who fights the evil genius Professor Otto von Hooper! This is a cute, albeit simply drawn, comic with lots of character. Mandalorian Mercs
The Mandalorian Mercs are a Lucas approved costume club that is specifically about the Mandalorian armor made famous in the Star Wars films by Boba Fett and Jango Fett. These guys are all about spreading the love of Star Wars and can be seen in their excellent costumes at all kinds of events. At Stockton-Con they had a second purpose; they were promoting the “Save Princess Leah” fund to support an ill child of one of the Mercs.
